  • Twitter to Test Doubling Tweet Length to 280 Characters
    • Goal is to eliminate possible constraints that kept people from tweeting more frequently
    • At 328 million users, Twitter has been criticized for its inability to attract more people
    • The people who will get to test the 280-character tweets will be randomly selected
  • Instagram Offers Visual Backdrops in Direct Messages
    • Pair your message with a selfie or a colorful background
