  • The price moves are aimed at allowing Whole Foods to compete for a more mainstream shopper and combat the encroachment by lower-priced grocers into the organic and natural foods categories
  • Prices dropped On Monday when its $13.7 billion acquisition deal closed
• LinkedIn adds new status functionalities to Messaging
  • You can now see who in your network is online and available on LinkedIn
    • Green status dot indicates that connections are active and available
    • Green dot with a white center indicates that they are on available Mobile
  •  In addition to seeing when your connections are available, they have also made it easier for you to start instant conversations from anywhere on LinkedIn
• Facebook News Feed is Improved
  • Updated the comment style and made it easier to see which comments are direct replies to another person
  • Colors, icons, and typography updates to make the look and feel more intuitive
  • Navigation into and out of posts works better now
  • These design updates should not affect Pages’ reach or referral traffic
• Snapchat Launches New Crowd Surf Story Feature
  • Uses artificial intelligence machine learning technology to analyze snaps submitted to Our Story by multiple people recording the same musical performance at the same time
  • It then laces together the different angles to provide a “near-seamless” look at a live event from multiple perspectives
  • Crowd Surf is set to be available at more public events in the future including concerts and speeches, but will require tons of people shooting and submitting Snaps from the same moment
