- Snapchat’s Value Drops $1.3 Billion After 1 Kylie Jenner Tweet
- Jenner tweeted to her 24.5 million followers about Snapchat’s new update
- Tweet “sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me… ugh this is so sad.”
- The next day, the stock price of Snap (Snapchat’s parent company) fell about 6% closing at $17.51 a share.
- 1 million people have signed a petition demanding that the old platform be brought back.
- Facebook’s Expanding Access to Their ‘Breaking News’ Tag for Publishers
- Back in November, Facebook gave access to a ‘Breaking News’ tag, but only to a select few publishers
- This tag allows publishers to highlight news as it is happening. The post will be highlighted by a red indicator that tells followers that the news is happening live.
- Facebook has decided that they want to keep this and grant access to all Publishers for them to use it.
